When Michael Covel - who is neither a Turtle nor a trader, but rather a book author, speaker, multiple website vendor and self-described "serial entrepreneur" - speaks out about the Turtles, I am all ears.
The Turtles traded 20 day breakouts in commodities futures with a stop loss of 2xATR. Curtis Faith says in "The Way of The Turtle" that the old Turtle edge does not work well anymore. However, his success was not in the edge itself but in the discipline of trading that edge, or any edge.
