So yeah, usually every few months there will be a day where SO MUCH is happening in the markets and after whole day at the screens i can barely keep my eyes open, but the opportunity is still there. This usually happens when i am expecting something to happen, but am too early and the chop sucks the living soul out of me and by the time market starts moving, i am so tired and lose the focus and am more prone to doing mistakes. Which medicine would be most useful for something like this? Perhaps "study drugs" like adderal or modafinil? Anything else? Caffeine irritates my bowel so it's a no-go. All of this is just hypothetically speaking, i would never use drugs without consulting a doctor.
Every person I've known that started taking Adderall ended up addicted to it over time and then said it was a nightmare coming off of it. The problem is that once you start getting the intense focus that a stimulant gives you, you don't want to work without it because not taking it means you're back to feeling dumb and worn out. You may want to consider something like a nootropic brain supplement like...
From an avid coffee drinker, bowel irritation may not be the coffee, and I'm advising from experience as I once suffered the same thing. It depends where you get your coffee from. Some dispensers of coffee don't clean their machines via proper sterilizing and you'll get a type bug. Old coffee smells off and can cause issues - usually your home instant coffee. It needs be kept fresh, cool, dry, used quickly. It can be the type milk. Lactose free milk may help but you need to experiment, all lactose free milks are not the same. I can order lactose free milk which I require and certain cafes still give me a guts ache, actually I get a sort of back / kidney pain. One cafe to the next all give me different results, I have my favorite which is 100% perfect, unfortunately atm closed due to covid19 issues so I'm having issues atm with 2nd rate crap served up by fast food type outlets. Even regular milks are different, one cafe I used to go to gave me intense back pains from their coffee, I believe it was from budget type milk they were buying, it was fresh milk, but still caused issues. I only have 1 cup a day.
Btw, coffee and alcohol are diuretics causing you to pee more frequently, my suggestion never drink both as it compounds issues, and with coffee not on an empty stomach as that causes irritation, especially more so black coffee. I once lost a major sales job because on a medical the doctor found traces of blood in my urine so failed on a medical examination. It took a while to suss out (weeks) but it was from black coffee and red wine consumption.
Yeah, adderall is an amphetamine (2 actually) very similar to meth. At some point you gotta ask yourself why you're taking it (without a prescription) and what value that provides to your life at the end of the day. Balance that against the pretty unquestioned bad that comes with any drug addiction but especially the amphetamine family. Hard to see where the benefits could possibly outway the detriments. For the OP, what are those "opportunities" and what are they really worth when it's all said and done? A couple of less serious alternatives....The stimulant in chocolate is theobromine rather than caffeine, so you may want to try that to see if you can avoid the issues you get with caffeine. You can eat raw or roasted cocoa nibs and get very few calories compared to eating a chocolate bar. I've also been told the caffeine in matcha tea is easier on your stomach. I'm not a fan myself, but I'm told to go with "ceremonial grade" if you do decide to try it.
The one thing I found gave me intense burst of energy and focus was vegetable juicing. One awful tasting glass gave me energy of 6 cups of coffee. I only did it briefly, too time consuming. Seriously it's super healthy, juicing stuff like wheatgrass kale beets ginger but tastes bad
I'll second that, combination of ginger and kale juice is a nice kick in the ass. But will also second that it's a PITA to make!
Juicing books say to add apples and carrots to make it less bitter, still tasted bitter, but great energy boost. Used Breitbart brand juicer from Amazon, true re pita to prep and clean. If I get CV I will ask my wife to do juicing, super healthy
