McOligarchy

"McOligarchy" underscores the superficiality and manufactured nature of this new model of governance one that serves up authority in a way that’s convenient and palatable for the masses but deeply problematic underneath.

It’s crucial to spotlight what’s emerging. Trump’s team often notes he is easy to manipulate but impossible to control. Elon now faces the delicate dance of managing this chaos, striving to keep himself valuable enough to Trump, an achievement Steven Mnuchin managed, so it’s not impossible. Mnuchin wasn't a draw for Trump's limelight despite his hot wife so that's a big difference with Elon.

The question remains: What will the new American McOligarchy look like? It won't be only an Elon-garchy.

Orbán’s model clearly offers a preview. He champions 'illiberal democracy' or 'Christian democracy,' systems that retain the appearance of elections while predetermining their outcomes through media control and silencing opposition. This McOligarchy approach, quick, populist, and ideologically packaged, represents a vision of minority rule promising a return to a white-dominated, religiously based society.

Orbán has pursued this vision by dismantling an independent press, suppressing political opposition, undermining the rule of law, and empowering a network of loyal crony oligarchs to control the economy.

Notice the Republican working class coalition.
Trump did that. Hey Bernie Bros' time to make a deal.
No more voting machines just vote like France and the elites are no more.

  5. It will be interesting to see how these two attention whores will be able to coexist in the same administration.

Didn't that used to be "Sir, This Is an Arby's"?

My daughter is close to a sale of her restaurants, it will be nice to have her less busy for a while.

Grimes Reportedly Joining Elon Musk's Compound for His Children and Mothers

Last week, the New York Times reported that Musk wanted to move his entire patchwork family into a collection of three mansions in Austin, Texas.

Gotta have a compound spread over a wide enough area. Keeps their mensies from syncing.

There are no Arby's around me, so I might be biased.

FWIW @Tsing Tao I will admit that I didn't have a good feeling about the election at all once Elon signed up however I did the brave face thing. I don't normally fall in behind wishing things true but I did.
