McCain follows Obama's lead

    Early on Tuesday morning, Barack Obama proposed raising the FDIC insurance coverage from $100k to $250k as a way of reducing the risk of panic, also noting that the $100k level had not been inflation-adjusted for over 30 years.

    Later in the day, on "Fox and Friends" :p , McCain parroted Obama's idea.

    By evening, Obama's idea was being discussed broadly as an essential part of any new try at a bipartisan emergency package.
     
  2. And Obama followed Kudlows lead who has proposed the idea before Obama. Are you telling me Obama is looking to Larry Kudlow for advice? Fact is Obama is playing follow the leader on this one, as is McCain. Neither has an original idea.
