Forced into tight quarters with little chance to quarantine? I can see the logic.

Though death among inmates has been relatively low from COVID. Must be the healthy food and lifestyle

Having worked in a prison, I agree. We can't let them out, and they can't social distance, from each other, or from staff.

They are there as punishment, not for punishment.

Yeah... let's give prisoners a COVID vaccine before we give it to law-abiding healthcare workers in COVID wards.

I think the inmates and the staff, which includes prison healthcare workers, should get the vaccine first.
Law abiding citizens, many of whom seem to be working from home (goofing off from home imo), can lay low for another few months.

Explain this to all the nurses and doctors working in COVID wards --- who have not been vaccinated yet --- why prisoners should get the shot the same time as them.

Not only have these f@cking politicians cut in line to get the shot before doctors and nurses.... now these politicians are saying prisoners should go as part of their "group". And these nurses and doctors are quite rightfully totally pissed off.

The freedom loving mask-less Trump supporters should get it last.

They'd likely be among the most supportive of helping the helpless. They would understand that inmates can't social distance, and neither can they.

Yes, that is wrong. I've read that doctors are being approached by the very rich seeking to jump to the head of the queue.
