    Did something in the post imply any part of the presentation implies directional trading?

    It was just a point of information what to expect from the presentation

    And they are allowed to have opposite positions on both the bid and ask side for the same strike and same expiration date and we are not.

If you know the history of Wall Street you can come up with a list of advantages that have disappeared over the years. Interestedly the disappearance of these advantages have made Wall Street more profitable than ever.
