Margin rates cheaper than IBKR?

With a base rate terminal value projected to reach 5%, margin rates are becoming very expensive.
Are there any turnkey brokers out there offering larger margins (8 digits) for a lower rate than IBKR?

 

is it possible you short the stock, pocketing the difference between stock loan rate and cash rate from the short?

 

Never heard of anyone lower than IB. I am always amazed how low their rates are.

 

Box spreads are around 30bps spread and offer term flexibility but you need to manage your liquidity. The smaller primes are competitive but won't match IBKR pricing and the larger primes won't get out of bed to make an eight digit margin loan.
