    Hi!

On TWS or client portal where can I find the interest that I will have to pay every month? Is MTD interest?

Is it paid by which day every month?

is payable in accounts base currency or the currency that was lend to me?

Just checked my statements, it looks like you pay the margin interest daily for each day that you incur margin.

  4. Your IB account is a multi-currency account. This means that debit or credit interest is being calculated for each currency separately. So it could be that for currency A you receive credit interest (paid to you in currency A) while at the same time being charged debit interest on currency B (charged to you in currency B). IB will NOT convert currencies to your base currency. Only in your monthly report will you see a conversion to base currency mentioned, for your convenience. The amount of interest is calculated daily, and the interest percentages are published by IB on their website.

Thanks, and interests are charged at the beginning of every month, right?
