Yes traders, risk and capital management are crucial!!! Therefore traders, as a general rule of thumb, do NOT risk your capital on buying courses, systems and indicators from people who are not traders themselves. Do you agree, or disagree?
%% Sounds like great a general rule; but a good book may haVe good system with discretion, but maybe thats why you did not take a shot @ books LOL Dr Tony Evans said the wolf howls scared some; but state of AK put a $50 bounty on wolves + then he said ''we're rich''
showing only a few good trades is known as cherry picking so unless you have a track record please don't post those anymore, they are misleading and designed to sell
I have mixed thoughts Aspiring traders don't know..., what they don't know I think people should be very selective with their purchases..., knowing some purchases are necessary Unfortunately the internet / bookstore are filled with bullshit promising all sorts of returns / secrets / "holy grails" If one does sign up for a class / training..., do not hesitate to request you see their brokerage statements over whatever period of time you deem acceptable (everyone and their dog can trade a bull market..., and bear takes a little more skill..., a sideways take a lot of skill) And if they refuse / make excuses why they can't produce them - call bullshit and walk away ======================== This shit takes work / sacrifice / and time Hardest way to make easy money there is - so the saying goes RN
Has anyone traded live with James Buchman and had success? Specifically net positive results for more than just a few days?
There is a natural skepticism here. Most long time ET'er are battle harden and developed a healthy skepticism towards sellers of courses on how to make money trading. There is a middle ground. Professors who teach you the how to design, may not be good designers themselves but they should understand and teach you the path to get there. A good basketball coach need not be a good player as long as he knows how to mould you into a good player. Unfortunately trading is a field with lots of unscrupulous players out for our money and few good players. I know sponsors like ORTS, Lightspeed are great at providing the relevant services. I hope by being on ET means ninZa.co will eventually pass your tests and providing good services to ER'er.
Thanks for the video link. I watched 3 of his YouTube videos. This Friday, 8-21 and 8-22. He didn't give a tally of his trades so it is hard to assess if he is legit and the outcome valid except the banner said $xxx profit. From the real time charts displayed in his videos, my entry and exit points would be quite different. But he is a pro and I am just an amateur retail.
