Separation of church and state is important (why do we allow churches to be tax free again?) There are already things to handle this (the police), so I am unsure why we need more of our tax dollars to go to more wasteful things. How long before we have a special section of the government called the "religious security office" and separation of church and state is evaporated? The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
