“The U.S.’s financial burden is growing despite a strong economy,” Bloomberg reports.

“Total public debt climbed to more than $22 trillion as of Feb. 11, according to a Treasury Department report Tuesday.”

USA Today: “The national debt has been rising at a faster rate following the passage of President Trump’s $1.5 trillion tax-cut package a little more than a year ago and as the result of congressional efforts to increase spending on domestic and military programs. The nation has added more than $1 trillion in debt in the last 11 months alone.”

Where are all the hypocrite republicans:rolleyes:

  3. Trump increases the debt by 10% in his first 2 years and liberals flip.

Obama increases the debt by 35% in his first 2 years and crickets.

Historically speaking, the debt doubles about every 10 years. You know Trump is doing a good job with the debt. You can't compare dollar for dollar when inflation is an actual thing. Otherwise I'll just go back and say Reagan was the best because he only added $1.8 trillion to the debt. Or I'll go back further and say Nixon only added $100 billion to the debt and he had the vietnam war!

You see how this works or do you still want to act ignorant hoping someone just as ignorant will fall for your BS?

It is amazing that some of the you dumb ass Americans still don't understand the difference between appropriate policy coming off one of the worst financial crisis in US history versus taking over a growing somewhat stable and healthy economy.

Trump is doing a terrible job with the debt. No doubts on that he's treating your country the same way he treated his Atlantic City casinos.

Obama inherited a giant recession with tax receipts taking a nosedive.

Trump inherited a growing economy and then cut taxes for himself and his rich friends which spiked the debt.

Obama came into office with a 1.2 trillion dollar deficit,Trump came into office with a 600 billion dollar deficit (which Trump has increased to a trillion)

Trump came into office with a good economy,Obama came into office with the worst economy since the great depression.

And what exactly did he do to save things? Breathe? The office could have been vacant and things would have played out exactly the same way.
    Just sayin'...

The subject is National Debt here, not deficit. Get with the program.

My mistake because one inheriting a deficit twice as large as the other has nothing to do with the debt that increases on their watch:rolleyes:

So explain to us how many dollars Obama increased the national debt by during his term. He holds the all time record.
