“Average tax refund amounts are down double-digits compared to last year, according to the latest batch of weekly IRS data about the 2019 tax-filing season released late Friday,” The Hill reports.

“The average refund through Feb. 15 was $2,640, which is 16.7 percent smaller than the average refund through Feb. 16, 2018, according to the IRS data.”

Typical Demotard...more interested in his stupid April tax return rather than the overall decrease in his tax liability.

Just one in 20 families face a higher tax burden this year because of the law, the left-leaning Tax Policy Center estimates, including 7.3 percent of middle-income groups.

Who pays the income taxes in this country?
The top 20% earners pay 87% of all taxes.

The entire article can be summed up by it's final paragraph:
"The size of someone’s tax refund says nothing about whether their taxes have gone up or down," the Treasury spokesperson said. "As we have said, most people are seeing the benefits of the tax cut in larger paychecks throughout the year, instead of tax refunds that are the result of people overpaying the government."

Typical lying Trump University hick citing a ONE time drop ignoring that it's temporary and the tax bill keeps getting larger which ACCIDENTALLY is not the case for Trump and his rich friends

This is from the article you linked but keep the orange nosing going of your pedo messiah.

Yea, let's ignore the data and let's sum it up with Trump administrations' deflection with a cookie clutter generic quote of their giant tax scam.

It is not the refund that matters but, the actual tax that you paid in 2017 and 2018! How can someone be so dumb?

  8. Wow...so you're telling me that the people that pay the most in income taxes got the biggest benefit to the tax break? That's crazy! Surely the people that pay the LEAST in taxes should get the biggest tax break, right? That's the "fair" thing to do! /s

See, you are being honest - if Trump and his maggots said that during the campaign and then marketed it saying the same, I would have had absolutely no problem.

    The problem is THIS

"we will eliminate the carried interest deduction and other special interest loopholes that have been so good for Wall Street investors, and for people like me, but unfair to American workers."

He went in and did the exact opposite and here you are defending him for it.

Just like you believe he 'started' a wall and is about to finish it!

Don't you feel embarrassed for being used for an idiot?

No, we feel embarrassed that half the country is comprised of idiots like you.

You act as if anyone who voted for Trump believes everything he could or will deliver everything he promised. They don’t.

One thing is for certain - you are looking at tax refunds as some indicator of the losers that you represent. And that makes you a huge idiot.
