Macy's is up more than 14% after Q2 results!

EPS of $0.54 vs 0.45 estimated.
$5.87 billion in revenue vs. $5.75 estimated.

Great rally folks, what do you think about Macy's in general?

 

Bricks and Mortar = Boring

 

They have a cool parade.

And empty stores.

 

I made a play on mildly bullish range play on JWN because of M but it just gapped 7.5% before earnings and 7.75% after. It busted past my profit range.

 

Though, they're trying to move online

 

Yeah, the parade was cool as always, and the stores, yeah seems like a lot of folks don't want to go to their stores anymore.

 

Their online portal is pretty darn good. I like ordering from them online when they post their special sales.
