Hi all, I got bit confused by reading multiple posts about monitor, video card , desktop & Laptop. so want to start with step by step. Currently using Macbook pro and one cheap monitor ( used thunderbolt for connecting). Plan - Step-up 4 monitors Planning to buy laptop or desktop and 3 monitors. Please share what to buy based on the above to complete the budget friendly 4 setup monitor screens.
I have read reviews by developers who saying they increase productivity by going with a single monitor setup. Just use a desktop manager. Additionally, the new monitors can handle multiple inputs. The video cards required need to be a little more powerful than typical. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00VA2X5EU...UTF8&colid=WAF31G2V9CD4&coliid=I17M69ZBLTPVMY
IMO one doesn't need more than 2 monitors, 3 max. If they're using 3 they better be watching 30 instruments or something.
Thanks for the reply, please share some idea on laptop or desktop. Actually I am planning on buy 17 inches laptop with i7, 8 gb ram . Please let me know if the above config works or better to go with Desktop ??
Are you actually going to move the laptop? I bought a very small http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/nuc/products-overview.html and plugged two monitors in. They now do an i7 version that you can plug a Samsung 850 pro ssd into.
Sorry I got confused again, I want to go in a cheap way because I am newbie in the trading. What is the best way to connect 2 or 3 monitors with my laptop. Will laptop work or need to buy desktop ?
That's true, So for more than 2 monitors. I think need to buy a graphic card or video card right ?? If yes, I see multiple configuration on video cards or graphic cards and could not able find the one I need for the basic.
