Live Nation. ($33.92) This one is going to see some volatility tomorrow. Unfortunately, I suspect fear mongering concert venues will dominate cable news for the next week or so. LYV is overvalued anyway so... Fall-out from the tragedy in Manchester will probably push it lower. Just putting it out there. Trade your conscience.
Wonder what other hidden gems are out there based on this, there has to be something, one of my buddies is like "Rain man" when it comes to figuring out which insurers are exposed to hurricanes and natural disasters in which regions of the U.S., but terrorist attacks are tough. It sounds harsh but the stocks are going to go anyways, so you can either be a part of it or not. If it was in the states TASR maybe, but i dont even think the brits are allowed to use Tasers.
Why would LYV drop? Because of Arianna Grande cancellations? Or because of liability issues? I doubt there will be liability issues... However sad and shocking, things like this have less and less of an impact. Markets today hardly reacted. LYV will continue with their normal business. Also, LYV has a market cap of 7 bln, how much do you think it will lose on this? The only thing that might move after this is in the (private) security sector....
HMNY was the play, facial recognition software, low floater, could go to 7 missed it at 3.50 though and not chasing it now.
Totally agree. Its the psychological herd mentality (sell) reaction on the stock price when they start pumping out a "people aren't going to go to concerts" mantra 24/7. Strictly a call on herd mentality. That being said, LYV is overvalued at first glance when I looked at it last night.
With all the adult men i saw running out of that stadium with no kids, im surprised Chris Hansen wasnt waiting on the outside.
