    Lyft confirms $600M in new funding at $7.5B valuation
    Lyft has confirmed that it hasraised a new roundof funding, bringing in $600 million from a mix of new and existing investors. The latest investment places a $7.5 billion post-money valuation. Investors that contributed to the round include Alliance Bernstein, Baillie Gifford, KKR, and Canada's Public Sector Pension Invesment Board, along with previous backers Rakuten and Janus Capital.(Venture Beat)

    You know I wonder if I am getting too old for the business of trading. I just don't get this. These valuations that make your head completely spin. I mean they are a big taxi dispatch service. I tip my hat to the founders though.

    UBER valuation is at $70B but, yes valuations are crazy.

    seems like they were the original and have a more innovative approach to things. IOW Lyft seems to always play catch up.
