@def can you tell me why Lumber mini futures contract (LBR) that started trading on 08.08.2022 at CME Globex is not available for trading? If I enter buy order it says: "ORDER IS NOT ACCEPTED: This product is not available for trading."
The old lumber futures contract - Random length Lumber (LBS) that will be replaced by LBR in six months, doesn't have any problems.

I also sent message to IB customer service last week, but still haven't received a response.

Out of 7 000 000 000 people in this world,
you might be the only foolish one in this world who wants to trade the mini lumber futures contracts.

The main Lumber futures contract volume is extremely low.

I can't imagine the trading strategy with such low volume.

Guys, question is not about the strategy. And yes, I know exactly when, how much, and why.

With time this contract will have more volume. At the moment I'm just testing it and not really buying.

agree. The volume might increase with time.
however, it might take a few thousand years for the volume to increase significantly.

Do not that in this world,
there are thousands of products with virtually zero volume.
Those products might be created by thousands of newbie strange foolish inexperienced sales/marketing Exchange managers.

anyway, good luck with your trading.
The only thing is why do people like to
    put pressure in IB?!?!?!?!

I don't need any significant volume for this contract, and the question of why IB doesn't allow this contract for trading (and when it will), still remains.
