Inflation did drop but it still feels like it's too high considering the cost of living is still too high although the reality is that our dollar buys a lot less at the grocery store than several years ago...I think that's called shrinkflation.

During my recent visit to the States, I noticed foods with shorter expiration dates. That's another problem with groceries being more expensive.
