Hi All, I’m looking to form a small group to review/critique trades, discuss strategies, talk about lessons learned, etc. I’ve been trading full time for about a year and have had moderate success. I am currently slightly better than breakeven. I trade intraday US equities and have been using a hybrid algorithmic and discretionary approach. I’m looking to build a career in trading and am ready to take things to the next level. I’m looking for others with a similar passion and dedication. I live in Michigan, USA but envision a virtual group that meets regularly. Let me know if you’re in a similar position and are interested. Cheers
Other than having the right CV and getting in the right working/learning environment, time lots of time watching markets while trading small size - not peers also looking to learn - is what it takes. Good luck though whichever path you take.
No offense but if you are break even after 2021 (aka buy ze dip-year, or the easiest year of a lifetime) you really have to do more homework first. More education. Maybe a different style as of what you are doing right now.
You'd think a trading forum would be a natural. Not the case, unfortunately we have the wrong types of posters here. All hat, no cattle. E-mail me if you want more details. tfischer641@gmail.com
What timeframe charts do you like to trade? Do you have a trading plan? Do you use art and intuition to execute your trades?
