hi, Japanese nippon TV just contacted me wanting to interview small traders /investors. Please pM me if interested. Please don't troll thread. This may be a great opportunity for someone
Hahah... the king of trolling asking for leniency! I take it all your multiple aliases will stay away from this thread????
Ai... I'd be interested, but am trying to avoid media. Check with @Zzzz1 ... And there was some other person on here who trades Japan a lot... Are they interested in Futures, Options... or stock traders? Big differences in there...
@marketsurfer, put a post up in this thread... https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/japanese-daytrading-for-foreigners.307372/
I'm a nobody right now -- Maybe ...down the road, if I don't blow my acct trying to gain yuuuge (knock on wood)
marketsurfer-san, watashi wa kabushiki ichiba no toreda! Forgive my romaji, Zzzz1 is an authority on Japanese markets. He should be interviewed. If you need an American based nobody, well I am right here lol.
Souba(相場), not ichiba(市場). Ichiba is the type of market where you buy vegetables. Zzzz1 is an authority on himself.
Thank you Learner2007, I will be in Japan soon so obviously I need to get my language skills up. I thought Ichiba was simply "market" and Souba is "price"? I can see the Kanji? here in the response as I type this but I did not see it in the original message. I know Zzzz1 has strong opinions and he argues a lot but I think he really did work as a quant in some large Japanese Bank. You can tell he has the experience just from reading his posts, you can't fake that. But again, I understand if his strong opinions turn people off. He probably would be an interesting person to interview.
Souba can also mean market price in some cases. But in the context you were using it, it would mean market.
