I'm currently using google for stock charts. But it's not so practical to have a dozen tabs open at the same time and switching between them. Is there a FREE software to generate a page that looks more or less like this? I would need the possibility to switch/set a timeframe (1 day, 1 year, 5 years, ever) Any ideas? I'm just starting out with investing/trading.
Example with stockcharts.com that works with up to 12 symbols per URL https://stockcharts.com/freecharts/...AL,AAP,AAPL,ABBV,ABC,AMZN,AMD,CCL,TSLA,NU,NIO
Finviz also. You can either screen or input your tickers, See either daily, weekly or monthly candles. Sort by specific variables … https://finviz.com/screener.ashx?v=210&ta=0&t=AMZN,AAPL,NVDA,TSLA
I tried both and i really like finviz. I only wish that i could set a longer timeframe and the charts would be interactive with pointer to see the value at a specific time. For that you have to click on the ticker and open a new window. But overall it does what i need. If there are other alternatives please let me know and i will check them out. Otherwise i will keep using finviz. BTW: how exactly is this service/product called?
Free Barchart was pretty good for me, then when I figured what I wanted for a strategy and customization was worth going Premier I went Premier.
So i built myself a nice list using finviz.com: https://finviz.com/screener.ashx?v=210&ar=180&ty=l&ta=0&p=m&t=MLKN,ELYS,WYNN,KHC,TGB My dad would also like to have such a list but it appears that finviz.com does not support foreign stock exchanges / symbols. Unfortunately my dad deals with a lot of german and european companies that are not listet on NYSE, NASDAQ etc. Imperial Brands for example. Is there an alternative that he could use? Ideally free and without creating an account? (But creating a free account would not be an issue if need be) Edit: What i especially like about finviz.com is that it shows the history of the last couple YEARS in the charts.
