Some history. Several years ago I have written a program for PC for myself to let me practice stock market trading. I found it useful and ended up putting it on the web for free so other can also use it. The idea is that if you can trade quickly with real market data you can train yourself to spot winning patterns. I tried different games, paper trading etc. But it takes a day or a week to see if you are making money. So I figured the next best thing is to pretend that your are in the past and trade, than since you have "future prices" you can just fast forward to see how you did. Lately I have been playing with Android programming and wrote an app to do the same thing and have a convenience of the phone to practice. I am not making any money from this (OK I made like $20 from ads so far so I am making about $0.05 an hour) it is mostly for fun of learning Android and practicing trading. I am asking for some feedback, (criticism welcome) how to make the app more useful. Now since I don't make any money I can get data such options other than US market since data costs money and I can't justify paying for this data. The app is here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.turtrades.free The PC program I no longer make changes to, but the app I use and keep updating so all request will be put on the TODO list.
