I'm looking for the cheapest broker for stocks. I've been trading futures and got a $10 round turn commission through mann. I was wondering what the cheapest rate anyone has received.

    Thanks,

Just a warning about sharebuilder. The $4 trades are automatic investments...some complicated structure in which you can only buy and sell on certain days of the week at certain times(if I remember correctly). Real time market orders are 15.95 and real time limit orders are 19.95.....the four dollar ads everywhere are a bit misleading...I learned that the hard way.

  3. Zecco and Bank of America have free trades now, although the number of free trades per month is limited (and in the case of BoA, you have to have $25K sitting in a deposit account).

I don't know how good their fills are.

Lots go Direct Access Brokers out there with per share or per trade commisssion.

    RML
    IB
    Genessis

    All low

  5. After the free trades... what do they charge for the ones after that...

    thanks...
