Hi All, Recently got laid off and looking for an entry-level/mid-level role in NYC. I want to gain more experience in Asset Management/Portfolio Management, particularly in the derivatives space, or product management in FinTech. I have background in both. Currently holding SIE and Series 65. To be brutally honest I am looking for something with decent hours as well, not IB hours. But willing to work hard and want to learn. If anyone has a team, or knows of positions I'm willing to send over a resume with some of my personal details redacted, just to have an intro conversation. Thanks
Thanks @MarkBrown and @SunTrader - Matrix seems like it could be a good direction, I'm big on transparency and I'm glad it is one of their pillars. Its good to have full visibility into their process and results, and that they are only accountable to clients.
Hiring yet more people and creating new dept(s), for example DOGE and ERS, to cut down on waste and fraud. Well at least they (meaning Elon) got rid of his co-head. CMTSU anymore.
I see your point. But, obviously if you hire 1 lower wage person for every 5 higher wage people you eliminate... there will be cost savings. You're going to have to try harder if you expect to pass on to the next round of interviews.
