here's a trade that is finally starting to work out for me it invloves being long eur.usd and then net short eur against the other currencies I've been long eur vs usd and jpy for the longest time even though I am betting on eur.usd parity in my lifetime (what's left of it.) and then short eur against aud, cad.chf and gbp it's always different sizes on each postion so spare me the analysis of how I could just trade another cross better
man that didn't take long. I've been under water on it since 2015. It was finaly starting to show some life, so I posted about it thinking the next few weeks could be interesting, and they gave me too much too fast so I took it. Now I have to go back to trading that miserable USD.
Not concerned about ECB increasing their QE? Being long EUR in a risk off environment isn't a terrible idea, but the fact they are easing might make it tough. Just curious why long EUR?
I'm out now. I don't like it anymore than you do. My trades develope over long periods of time. I was net short eur
Test it for at least 6 months to confirm your suspicion on correlation pattern. Most probably it was occasional profit. Or.. you found Holy Grail, Congo!
