    HI All,

I have my VPS at Equinix LD4 datacenter (UK) and I was planning to get some fast feed over there, so I though LMAX would be great. I only need the feed. Unfortunately it is not cheap. LMAX support told me that as a retail trader they require 10k minimum on a trading account, some trading activity, and 300 USD/month just for the .NET API. If I do not want a trading account than it would cost me 10K/month just for the top of book feed. A meeting is also required and they want to test if my app works perfectly. So if I understood them correctly they are expecting a fully functioning app even if I only want a top of book feed subscription. So basically I just want to log in, subscribe to the feed, and that is all, no further requests will be sent.

Do you guys know any trading vendors selling LMAX feed only?
Or maybe some cheap introducing brokers for LMAX with a c# API?
    Or any better alternatives?

I am trying to keep my costs as low as possible.

Thank you for your answer. www.rtfxd.com send data only in every 1 sec. I need something faster. I am not sure how fast oanda is, but it seems like a great option. I assume Oanda has servers in LD4 and must be fast in order not to be arbitraged. My problem with IQfeed is that they do not trasfer the data overseas and I dont have the budget for microwave towers.

There are other FX feed that you can get from either other vendors or independent data providers but since FX is traded OTC and retail FX being really a CFD with prices fixed by the broker itself so if you want exclusively absolutely price feed from LMAX, you will have to subscribe to the LMAX feed. Other vendors' data will work but they will not be exactly the same as that of LMAX.

I remember the days of $300/month data feeds. That is cheap!

You need to pay to play.

Considering infaltion you might be absolutely right. :)

I just don't want to work for weeks or months on a fully functioning app if I don't need to. And let's not forget that a portion of my capital is also at risk as an algorithm written by me will have access to it. :)))
