Scientists have discovered that listening to 'groovy' music, from artists like the Bee Gees or ABBA, can actually boost brain performance. The results of a study by the University of Tsukuba in Japan found that songs with a groove rhythm enhanced the 'executive function' of the listener. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/science...es-boost-brain-performance-study-reveals.html
Dubious study as "groovy" is a completely subjective term. We already know binaural beats frequency generators help the brain do different things and that's why electronic music genres are so popular for work and relaxation. Personally I like ambient/downbeat ambient or melodic techno or psychedelic trance for focus.
The mention of bi-aural beats reminds me of my Mind Spa. Stuff works great! Interesting to note, the Monroe Institute that pioneer this research did it for the express purpose of facilitating out-of-body experiences. Didn't take you for a electro-beats kinda guy. Lo-Fi Girl's been great for the ambient/downbeat. What melodic techno label have you been listening to? On another note, I been experimenting with HeartMath Institute's device for coherence as well as PEMF devices. The PEMF devices like NeoRhythm are gaining traction as accelerated learning aids and the PEMF mats are great to refresh after a trading session. Off-topic yet frequencies are frequencies. In chatting about the above this weekend, someone mentioned the schumann resonance that the PEMF mats can amplify. In reply, the subject of BeeBeds came up. Apparently, in Russia, small cabins are constructed with beehives integral to them so that the beds are atop the hive without any interaction with the bees. At night the hive drones at frequencies that have a measurable effect on the nervous system. The woman I chatted with claimed that it cured her of alcoholism and in Russia the beds are used to cure asthma.
Could these same bees be installed beneath the Kremlin to reduce aggressive tendencies I wonder? The calming and rhythmical humming from the hive might encourage a move to diplomacy and away from war. And if not there would at least be some honey available for tea.
lol, certainly a worthy experiment. My goal is to build one within the year. Currently reaching out to some beekeeper friends so test the veracity of the claim. For the curious; But this one is daytime frequencies not night.
Yikes! If there is one thing that I don't like, it is the sound of bees. Comes from being stung so much when I was a kid. I hate bees.
Music is a great tool for keeping your brain engaged throughout the process. It gives your brain a complete workout. Listening to music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain while also improving sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory.
