Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) says he won’t endorse presumptive nominee Donald Trump because it won’t necessarily help the billionaire, but he was reportedly seen at a fundraiser urging people to unite behind Trump.
“Graham urged GOP donors at a private fundraiser Saturday in Florida to unite behind Trump’s campaign and stressed the importance of keeping likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton from the White House,” CNN reports. “The fundraiser was hosted by former U.S. Ambassador to Portugal Al Hoffman, a former Republican National Committee finance chairman who also co-chaired Sen. John McCain’s 2008 presidential bid.”

“He did say that we need to get behind him,” Teresa Dailey, who attended the private fundraiser, explained to CNN.

Kevin Bishop, Graham’s spokesperson, said Graham did attend the fundraiser, but didn’t confirm Graham’s statements on Trump.

“There hasn’t been any change in his position,” Bishop added. “He’s been pretty upfront and outspoken.”

    what is Graham's angle here?

  2. They see a party united behind Trump as their best hope of hanging on to the Senate. The fact that Trump is suddenly polling even with Hillary is not escaping their notice either.

Its over from Trump then. Getting a Lindsey Graham endorsement is the kiss of death. Everyone who got the Lindsey Graham endorsement crashed and burned shortly after.

Graham knows his days are numbered if he doesn't fold and get in line. The neocons have lost almost all power. Trump is attempting to create a big-tent > consensus > get shit done. He intends to actually do most of what he says.

This isn't what it says about Trump. It's what it says about Lindsey. Lindsey is a traitor scumbag with no allegiance to any ideal except winning elections. He's trash. He just proved it by switching teams to stay in a job.

what I appreciated about what Graham did was he reserved his endorsement saying it might not be good for Trump. something along those lines. Making me believe Graham is a step up from boehner type evil. He may just be a misguided sellout.
