I am using sogotrade for stock trades. I made 2 stock orders so far. I put the limit price as the yesterday's closing price in both cases. Both stocks opened up 0.5%-0.6% below the yesterday's closing price. However, sogotrade purchased the stocks at the price exactly equal to my limit price. Also, I want to mention that number of shares I purchased is 0.000001% of total shares traded in one day for both stock so volume is definitely not an issue. Do you have the same experience with limit orders? Please indicate your brokerage in your answers.
