Playing around with Lightspeed Trader demo, I'm trying to find out what sort of margin is available when shorting SI (Silvergate) but I can't find an equivalent of "Check Margin Impact". Anyone with a LS account around that could help?
Does the software show short sell borrow rates? Or is a daily list of all US stocks published that are shortable?
Thanks. I'll ask a few things publicly as it can be helpful for others. Is this for both long and short? (IB has different margin for either side). What should I look for to know if there's short inventory?
yes-same for long/short, but they might change in the future. It says E-for easy to borrow. Does not need a locate.
For overnight short borrowing, no, not on the software. Our web portal shows an estimate of fees per share overnight but it is just an estimate that Wedbush provides us. It can change.
Meanwhile I've found the Automated Trading Manuals page to be behind a password. Curious as to why but is there documentation available publicly?
