You probably wouldn’t be so miserable if you could make a tenth of that trading.

  3. California and Californians are such a fducked up state and people. Good riddance.
Anyone who decides to live or stay here is a fool. It deserves a mass exodus.

I'm neither Liberal or Conservative; but I feel there's a delicate, ideal, unique balance to every situation in life.

Garbagemen(drivers) making 90k is not unusual, even in low cost of living states. It requires a CDL and they work tons of overtime working 12-15 hour days 6 days a week making around 25.00 an hour

People always bitch about those that are hourly paid (not salary) and makes >75k per year as if it's not fair to everybody else.

Those making that much money either lives in a high cost of living area or have an expensive lifestyle that requires them to work that many overtime hours. In fact, in many cases these are people that are higher up on the seniority list...allows them to work that many overtime hours especially when other employees are not willing to stay on the job to work beyond their normal work hours because the job/boss didn't get permission by the Union. :D

Ironically, if someone works 2 or 3 different jobs for the same total pay as someone working one job...outsiders don't bitch about the person working 2 to 3 different jobs because its a worker that's a "hard worker" although both may be working almost the same total hours.

  8. Does the lifeguard actually have to go in the water if someone is in trouble, or is it like Texas where I guess you apparently have a base salary but have to pay more for them to actually respond?

Can you imagine being a Coast Guard rescue swimmer and reading that. These guys/women go out 24/7 in my area and train their sorry arses off until it hurts 24/7 all year round. NOT MAKING 500k PER YEAR.
