Hey Pekelo, what a sensationalist title you have here! Just hear me out first, I am getting there. So I gave a deep thought to all these posts stating that new infections areleveling off and the shit show is almost over. Nope, my friends, it is just getting started. Society is going to change. The world as we knew it will be in the past. Until there is a vaccine for it, we have to adopt to new reality. OK, so vaccination is a year or so away. But there is a chance that we can have natural or Big Pharma made substance that helps you to get over the virus and get back to your normal life quickly. Mind you I am posting this under Health and not Politics. So let's assume 2 things: 1. People who already got the virus and recovered might still spread the virus, but themselves would be protected. 2. A magic substance will be found soon (weeks) that helps people with the flu and they recover fully and fairly quickly (days). Now this substance can be Zinc, Iodide or Chloroquine, for the sake of this post, let it be irrelevant. But let's say tomorrow they announce taking this substance will let you get over the flu in 4 days with minimal danger and with full recovery. Of course people would want to take it and just get it over, instead of being prisoners in their own apartments for 2 months. So the average human reaction would be to go to places where one can be exposed to the virus (See the title now? I told you I am getting there) and getting infected. Here I am talking about mostly younger and healthy people, not your 85 year old granny with respiratory illness. It is possible that governments will actually encourage this behavior because they need a working work force and customers!!! Maybe these already recovered people will be carrying a special badge or proof. We shall see, but it is possible the dystopian future has already started...
