The best is the governor calling for all electric cars by 2034. Considering CA imports 80% or so of its electricity from out of state and the electric grid has to cool every night before it explodes, that'll work out well.
There are many millions of conservatives living in California, and their votes don't count thanks to the Electoral College.
Interesting... "California has been the subject of more than 220 proposals to divide it into multiple states since its admission to the union in 1850,[8] including at least 27 significant proposals in the first 150 years of statehood." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cal_3#California_history
That is how it works. Another way to look at it is that California can fill itself to the brim with leftists and it doesn't give them any additional influence in an election and that works for me. Once a state has gone full leftist its weight in a election is a given and can be offset by states with more sensible politics. Every leftist in the country should move to California, Oregon or Washington. Same for New York. They can cheat to their hearts content and it won't make any difference. That is the brilliance of the Electoral College.
