In BC a father was given a sentence for trying to stop his daughter's sex change operation which meant she would have never have been able to have children should she change her mind once she was an adult. OMG, middle schoolers exposed to profanity and crude humor! The horror. I'm shocked, shocked I tell you. What sheltered universe did you grow up in and how many hundred years ago! I saw more profanity and crude humor getting tossed around middle school by middle schoolers than I've seen in the remaining 35 years of my life. This was waaay before the internet, nearly before computers. If you think TickTock is giving kids access to something they haven't had access to for at least my entire lifetime you're living in lala land.

If you don't realize what middle schoolers themselves have been exposing each other to for generations than you're extremely naive and must have been home schooled. Welcome to the real world, where millions of middle schoolers grow up just fine despite your hand wringing and attempts at being the morality police.
