Kari Lake announced via Twitter video that she has assembled the “best and brightest” legal team and is gathering evidence to fight the results of the Arizona gubernatorial race she lost to Katie Hobbs. Lake made the election denialism of former President Donald Trump a central theme of her campaign and has consistently sowed doubt in election results without any real evidence of fraud. There were examples of irregularities in the voting process in Maricopa County, but there is no reliable evidence that changed the outcome of the results. “I am still in this fight, ” she said in her video Thursday, after revealing anecdotes of Arizonans who complained to her about what she deemed to be electoral malfeasance. According to every reliable media outlet, however, Kari Lake is the loser of this hotly contested and very close gubernatorial race.
The funny aspect...it was exiled Liz Cheney funding ads in Arizona that urged voters to not vote for election deniers and reminded voters about January 6th as a result of the BIG LIE. Cheney follows up by funding other ads in other elections of key deniers in bed with Trump. Lake responded back to what Cheney was doing back in October that she believes the ads will give her "more points" to victory. It will be an interesting RNC going into the 2023-24 if Cheney decides to compete against Trump for the Republican nomination...giving her the chance to debate with him on National TV and we all know what she want's to debate with him about...January 6th. In that still photo of Fiore it is not possible to tell for sure whether she is chewing gum because she uncharacteristically has her mouth closed, but I would guess she is.
