Kamala Harris Dubbed as 'Toxic' and a 'Bully' as Only Four Employees Remain From 47 Hired As Kamala Harris prepares to take the White House after being declared the Democratic presidential nominee by POTUS Joe Biden, she lacks a strong team to back her efforts. According to the Daily Mail, her office's turnover rate since she became vice president is an astounding 91.5 percent, according to an analysis released by government group Open The Books (OTB). As of March 2024, only 4 of the 47 employees Harris hired upon taking office in 2021, were still employed. “Chaos reigns on the vice president’s staff,” OTB founder Adam Andrzejewski, stated. “Our auditors at OpenTheBooks quantified an extraordinarily high 91.5-percent staff turnover rate.” “Furthermore, the turnover chaos isn’t getting better. In the trailing 12-month period, 24 staffers left — that’s almost half the employees,” Andrzejewski added, as reported by The Federalist. “The VP’s rejection makes her the least transparent elected office holder in the country,” he previously penned in a 2021 Forbes article. “Citizens ought to be concerned that the person next in line for the presidency is so unwilling to disclose how she spends their money.” Since 2021, The Washington Post has interviewed eighteen employees from her office who complained about a toxic workplace. 'Uncomfortable' and 'soul-destroying' were the terms they used to describe their experience working with Harris.
The information conspicuously missing is what is normal anyway for that office and if it's unusually high, how does that compare to other unusually high (Trump) and, apparently therefore toxic, offices. These are known as "A-Team" turnover rates and don't include cabinet.
The Washington Post is hardly a right wing publication, and the were the source of the 'uncomfortable' and 'soul-destroying' comments. There's a problem with her personality and leadership style.
You are not selling your argument. Based on the data both Trump and Harris have the same A-Team turnover. Do you think the GOP should find a new candidate? https://www.brookings.edu/articles/tracking-turnover-in-the-trump-administration/ Again, what is normal? People get hired and they get headhunted for high paying corporate roles. So what is normal? While the specific practice of having staff stand and say "good morning general" might be unique, it aligns with the broader tradition of formality and respect in high offices and seems a little tongue-in-cheek.
Biden is the same way, unjustly angry and taking it out on subordinates. Media will transform Kamala into a hero of democracy, 30% of voters can't exist outside of that cult.
Trump's temper tantrums and his abuse of staff members is epic. Yet somehow MAGAs seem to forget this.
Even Trump didn't have a 91% turnover rate. Besides, the accounts of what it is like to work for Harris are bizarre. Subordinates not allowed to make eye contact? Remember, this was the liberal-friendly Washington Post reporting this. There's something wrong with her.
Trump had an 85% turnover rate across his A team. Trump had an 92% overall turnover rate -- easily beating Kamala's turnover rate as V.P. Trump's turnover was the highest of any recent President. And then there were ten: With 85% turnover across President Trump’s A Team, who remains? https://www.brookings.edu/articles/...r-across-president-trumps-a-team-who-remains/
