Just Two Charts

    1. Just Two Charts
"Earnings" matter... until they don't. What's wrong with these two charts?

EBITDA -7% from previous peak... (Yr 2007 vs Yr 2013)

S&P 500 nominal price +15% from previous peak... (Yr 2007 vs Yr 2013)

Still think stocks are "cheap" compared to the last cycle?

  2. That’s a pretty scary pair of charts. As long as QE continues though I’m not entirely convinced that the charts matter as much as “perception”. Stocks are definitely trading higher than they should be.

  3. Charts like this make me concerned. There’s been a lot of talk about the market having a correction, but it just seems like every time one starts it rallies right back up to the 16k mark again.
