It's a joke, dude. He did not get two new watchdogs named Timex and Rolex. It's like the two bankers in Everquest named "Mort" and "Gage".
Everquest 1999 ....back then, I was too impatient, dumb, psycho and twitchy for role playing games. I constantly played Unreal Tournament, shooter type games. Action, alertness, reaction, reflexes and observation -- not thinking and planning. All those years of gaming has shaped and molded me to my style of trading today, I suppose. Your style kind of reflects that role playing, technical, aspects. Rolex sucks. An overrated, cliche, boring, brand. I had a President and Datejust in the mid-2000's, I practically sold them less than a year after buying it. I'm currently watching Die Hard right now...there was a Rolex ladies watch scene in it...full circle. Dieing by a Rolex released, and introduced with a Rolex.
March 16th, 1999. I remember that day well. As for your comment on how it may have influenced my trading style? Hrmmm. Have not given that much thought. My immediate reaction is yes, since EQ is a game that requires a detailed strategy to succeed on the big boss battles, and much planning to achieve long-term goals, then yes I agree with that. But the lines get fuzzy from that point. I would have to give that some more serious thought. Was it the gaming that made me what I am in trading style and thought, or was it me that drew me to that style of gaming, and which determined my trading style? Edit: Freeport! Just remembered that that's the name of the town those two gnome bankers were located in, hehe. Oh man, the memories.
Now, kitties aren't useless, they are excellent for cuddling, and that makes them pretty useful in book.
