I'll go out on a limb here.

This will end up with Congress mandating that the Fed has new, 4th mandate. In addition to holding inflation at bay; expanding employment, and the most recent, improving racial equity. They will now be tasked with protecting the little guy by restricting his/her access to trading stonks. It's for your own good, you know.
