Short and brief...I run a thread on the Journal Forum. I mostly post about boring trades in stocks and covered calls. These posts don't show up on the response list, because it's a continuation of an existing thread. No big "look at me, look at me". Just making people aware for those who do covered calls or buy puts... https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/cabins-journal-of-buys-sells-and-covered-calls.375780/
Two things...When I add to my thread, it never shows up on the new top 20 list. No eyeballs on it. Second...There are many journals going on at the same time. My post will drop quickly on that list. I tell you what...I won't post this reminder for at least another year. Is that fair?? It's just some covered call people may want to see what is going on (since there is no separate "covered call forum", and if I post on the Option Forum I get shouted down for clogging up "a valuable space"...
You should add in the title of your journal short puts (cause synthetically that is what you are) and you might get more eyes on it.
Might this be the reason for the "friendly" reminder? "PS Please invest in any of these...I'll make money. A rising tide.."
Trust me...You don't want to attract attention to your journal thread. That you have it in the options section and not journals is totally -5000 points to Ravenclaw, man. Move your trades to the journal section, as it will attract less attention. Mostly.
Yeah, but this is a old thread...Hence wanting to share a one time post. Remember this thread started with Cabin111. But (if you read through the thread...No need to), I dropped Firefox. Firefox stored many of my settings. I still can't get into my Gmail to reset my password for ET...Hence I became Cabin1111 (with the starting of an old thread). I know confusing...disregard, but how it happened.
