  5. WAIT WAIT.... it gets better!!!

Specifically, the jury found Deputy Steven Holland liable for $2.7 million to mother Aasylei Loggervale and $2 million apiece to her daughters, Aaottae Loggervale, then 17, and Aasyeli Hardege-Loggervale, then 19.

The jury also found then-Deputy Monica Pope liable for $750,000 to both daughters, and that Alameda County is liable for the actions of its deputies.

Both Holland and Pope have since been promoted.

So you want citizens to stop calling out the cops and making a big deal over a few bad apples and respect the blue yada yada yada...

Where else in the world can you cost the taxpayers over $8 million in damages to be paid out because you failed to do your job correctly and get a pat on the back, promoted and get sent back out to keep fucking up.

Seriously..... it is not about getting rid of the police but they are failing miserably..... clean house, fire the fucktards, double the training periods and have 3rd party independent oversight.

There is no fucking way you ever retain anyone who costs you $8 million. Go find another fucking job.

Police is the only fucking job where you can cost your employer millions and still keep your job.The PD is still arguing they did nothing wrong.Let em keep doing nothing wrong and paying out millions in lawsuits.

  7. We should respect the blue right:

"The officers would have been well-served to sort of take a good hard look at what had happened and just acknowledge some of it," Peters said. "But instead, they kind of doubled down on trying to shade facts to try and make this situation seem not as bad as it was, try to raise some doubt, you know, attacking the women."

An Internal Affairs investigation found that the deputies did nothing wrong, according to Peters.

Both Holland and Pope are now sergeants.

Listen up....if you want to bitch about a few bad apples but then the rest of the cops cover up, lie, claim no crime was committed and then reward the cops who cost the city money, THEN ALL OF THE COPS OF THE FUCKING PROBLEM. I am tired of this story being repeated over and over again....

the COPS FUCKING LIED even though there was body cam footage!!!!! That takes balls....the type of balls you only see in armed civil servnats with no punishment for violating the constitution....

If you are still confused, let me tell you why 3 Black women were approached while legally sitting in a handicapped spot:

Two deputies, Holland and Pope, were on patrol at the time and approached the rented Cadillac.

They told the Loggervale family that they were investigating car burglaries committed by unidentified Black men. But in fact, one police report shows that the suspects were identified as one Black man and one Latino man, Peters said.

the deputies began questioning the mother about whether she was legally able to park in a disabled spot, despite her having a visible placard in her car window.

time to clean house of every department...

what does it mean that "deputies are liable"?

  10. I believe it said the police committed the acts themselves but the police department is liable for their actions which is what is required to have the police department be on the hook for the lawsuit. Employer responsible for actions of employees. Prevents police department from saying these cops acted on their own and outside the scope of their job so they are solely responsible and department has no liability. Employers often try to argue this but often lose and end up paying.

it is supposed to force employers to focus on training and oversight improvements to prevent the civil actions but as we see in cops, they dont give a fuck how many minorities cops abuse and falsely imprison...
