  1. JPM: More JPMorgan Layoffs May Be on the Way
It has already announced thousands of job cuts this year

Battered by government regulators and global deleveraging, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) may be forced to shed a lot more jobs.

Sources tell the New York Post that new JPMorgan layoffs could total up to 10,000 workers.
Another round of JPMorgan layoffs would be in addition to the more than 8,000 job cuts the big bank has already announced this year.

JPM forecasts trading revenues to drop 20% during the current quarter. Sources say that the bank is halting projects, a possible sign of impending JPMorgan layoffs.

Dick Bove, an analyst at Rafferty Capital Markets, says that JPM’s mounting problems could lead to CEO Jamie Dimon eventually jumping ship.

Spare a thought for the newly unemployed.

  2. "Masters of the Universe" do not need your spare thought : they will do just fine.
Don't worry for them, just worry for yourself.

  3. That is a very ignorant statement. Many are not doing well and not every banker and trader makes the kind of money that lloyd blankfein or jamie dimon makes. They are just normal people.

  4. Okay, so now the truth is coming out from the "Masters of the Universe" own mouth.
Oye Oye : not every banker and trader is making the kind of money that lloyd blankfein or jamie dimon makes.

  5. Wow, this is quite substantial. Will other banks and brokers have to follow suit? Is this a sign of poorer conditions ahead?

  6.
Actually, I think smallstops made a very wise and spiritual statement. What I think he meant was "each person has the ability to create their own reality. If they lose their job, it was meant to happen. They have the choice to decide where to go from there. Do not worry for them b/c they have complete control of their reality."
