All whites dont arent republicans, right leaning or racist trump supporters like captain oblivious. The white vote will be close to split in 2020 so the black and other minority vote will be a bigger factor.
Dems haven't won a majority of the white vote for like 50 years. Their solution is to try to intimidate or shame whites into voting against their own interests. Even with decades of indoctrination courtesy of the education system that whites are evil and should always defer to minorities, there are enough holdouts that they needed a Plan B. Luckily they had one.
