Great effort by this young man. Down 18, he hung in and got it done.

  2. Even when he was playing in college, I thought he had the making of a great quarterback.

Time will tell whether that happens or not. So far, so good.

Good for Burrow et al. I see the Rams having the advantage being that they are home, first SB in the brand-new arena, and running on the juice that they are just second team to host a SB in their home stadium after last year's Bucs. That's such a fun stat line.

That is going to be a very LOUD game, hehe.

Problem is Rams fans are no shows. They should be embarrassed there were that many SF fans there.

Although if you are from LA, there are lots of things to do and the time zone is not great either.

Actually, that is something I forgot about. The SB tickets are sold years in advance. Nobody knew it would be the Rams at SoFi in this year's SB. So there will be fans from like every team there.

Mreh. Well, I'm still rooting for the Rams because I have to, as my roommates are Rams fans, hehe. I'm a Chiefs fan, so I can care less at this point. (Man, Mahomes REALLY pissed me off in that last quarter. He became his own enemy, he did exactly what he said he would try not to do, which was rush his plays and try for big gains. UG!!)

But I gotta' support the home team now. Go Rams. Bleh.

  6. I like rooting for the underdog. Go Cincinatti!

Play on the old Bob Newhart show routine Larry, Daryl & Daryl, this is my favorite team, this is my other favorite team and my other favorite team.

    Fack that.

  8. Experience often wins over a team surging into the big game and Rams have been deep in playoffs a lot lately so that could carry them as the moment may be too big for a very young QB and rookie WR.

No louder than a SEC stadium.

"According to the Infinity Screen during the RAMS game on Sunday, the crowd, even with half of them being 49ers fans, the decibel level in the stadium was between the 108 and 113 decibels when the 49ers had the ball. During the Super Bowl, I hope RAMS fans can get it up to 120.
    • 120 decibels, equivalent to an amplified rock concert in front of speakers, sand-blasting, thunderclap [immediate danger], a nearby airplane engine, some rock or hard-metal cacophony groups, pneumatic hammer at one meter, thunderclap over head [at around 120 dB, the sensation of hearing is replaced by that of pain].

    • 110 decibels, equivalent to deafening factory noises and some musical boxes turned up too loudly, discotheque, thunder, rock-n-roll band.

    • 108 decibels, equivalent to the coqui frog croak of Puerto Rico [up to 108 dB]."
