While in office politifact keeps a lot of a Presidents promises rated as stalled. After they leave office they close them out.
Biden not only signed a bill to prevent railroad workers from striking,he lobbied Congress to get it passed. Biden wouldn't lobby for higher minimum wages, medicare option for all, police reform and a lot of other policies he promised, but he did get off his butt to fight to stop Union workers from striking.Yet democrats are shocked 6 million people who voted for Biden in 2020 wouldn't vote for him or his VP in 2024.
‘Goodness Gracious!’ CNN’s Harry Enten Stunned To Find Joe Biden’s Approval Ratings ‘Lowest Of Any President On Record’ David Gilmour Jan 20th, 2025, 6:19 am CNN senior data analyst Harry Enten laid bare the harsh polling reality facing President Joe Biden as he faces “historically low” approval ratings compared to past outgoing presidents – including President-elect Donald Trump at the close of his first term. Speaking on Sunday, Enten delivered a sobering assessment of Biden’s standing as he “goes out a very unpopular man at the end of a 50-plus year political career.” Showing the data on-screen behind him Enten pointed out that Biden’s current job approval rating sits at a dismal 38 percent. Biden came in to end the Donald Trump reign in this country, and all that’s ended up happening is that Joe Biden has managed to end up at a lower approval rating at the end of his first term than any president on record. An average of polls on presidents who lost or didn’t run for reelection shows Biden’s 38% is actually lower than Trump’s at the end of his first term.
Can I buy you some therapy sessions? You don't want to end up like Treefrog and his years long Hillary obsession. 84 pages and still adding to it.
I was ready to argue with you regarding the question in the other thread regarding the same topic. But shit, I think that I may agree with you.
This is why 6 million dem voters stayed home and handed the election to Trump, Harris promised to be like Biden. And Biden turned out to be a standard right-winger with a side of genocide. The parties have flip-flopped, reps are now the party of the working class (supposedly), and dems have become the party of the oligarchs (confirmed with the rejection of Sanders). So... conveniently... the working class is still divided and easy to rule. Economically, the potential is there for the working class to unite, but the ruling class still has cards to play: they can draw out more racial grievance cards (it only takes one incident per election year to keep that division alive).
