traded with both. both are true to their word. need a license for jc though. Gotten 100's of thousand back in profits with zero drama.
thanks. getting a license is a hassle I cant be bothered with. i might give cygroup a shot. anything more you can say about them?
Not sure what you mean by "Gotten 100's of thousand back in profits with zero drama" With which firm? & perhaps expand on how the decision of which firm to work with had anything to do with that..if this indeed did happen. Just curious....
When I asked for a wire to get money out, it was sent out the same or the next business day. I didn't have to wait for the end of the month, week or whatever. Anytime I requested a withdrawal, there was never any problems. Both firms. Buying power is about the same. If necessary they will increase your bp depending on your trading, Cygroup is more understanding with this. My highest bp there was like 70 to 1, but they will put a cap on daily losses though. Sung and Steve go out of their way to help you. You can't go wrong with either firm.
thanks, really appreciate your comments. they carry weight considering you joined Elitetrader back in 2001
Thanks for the reply as I had the same impression from my discussions with Cygroup. Haven't pulled the trigger yet. Perhaps I should of as one thing that changed is apparently they make you keep your initial deposit in there for a year..told me it's now required. Anyway, thanks for responding.. J.
I contacted CyGroup few months ago and asked them information about trading through them. They told me that I had to deposit 5.000$ that won´t be refundable (never!). I was surprised for that charge so I decided to go for other prop firm. Has anyone had the same request from them? Have you payed them 5.000$ just to trade with them? With so many props out there I find that request is something stupid Many thanks!
