Can I expect to see any elite traders on jack's list? http://www.opalesque.tv/hedge-fund-videos/jack-schwager-3/1
Didn't you say you know him? Can't you nominate some of the market wizards we have in this forum to him?
Yes, I know JS. However I can't nominate any of the big talkers or even suggest them. Heck, the Combine scares these folks to death. Here's JS project for those with the real skills other than typing. Www.fundseeder.com
I believe at the very least we'll see the following ET-ers on his list: MarketSurfer, based on his Price Drivers (an edge so powerful he had to leave ET lest it fall into sinister hands) Tradingjournals, based on his models (who, astoundingly, can nail minor swing highs and lows less than 5 minutes after they occur)
No way, both those guys have losing days. Sone Losing weeks. Only those traders with rare if any losing days should apply. You know who you are!
Very interesting: he uses terms usually used among venture capitalist - seed funding ( 1st round after friends-family, aka demonstrated abilities), etc... makes me think someone pointed an article about une VC moving to funding traders. They are even doing a roadshow! wow! Also, it is very good that he does not assume that it is OK to pass winning traders details around, or have brokers 'identify' these people without the trader first agreement.
That would be scalpers and HFTs, and as far as I know neither of those techniques is used by fund managers who have to put millions and billions of dollars to work. No, this is a search for the likes of Price Drivers!

Scalping is buying at the bid and selling at the ask. Not sure how that term has been misused lately.
