Happy Wednesday everybody! I’m looking for a math app game for kids where they can have fun but also learn at the same time. I’m asking because I’d like to get my niece more motivated on her studies of science and math subjects and the one she needs the most help with is with math, specially during this summer where she has so much free time and there's an opportunity to do something before the new school year starts. She’s in grade 7 and she’s already getting some help with this pre algebra tutor app but it doesn’t provide much of the “fun game” part I’m looking for, it’s more of a traditional way of practicing math. Some have told me that playing dominoes is good to develop math skills but I don’t know, at least I don’t see it, I never was good at math maybe that’s why . Anyways, sorry for the long post, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Sims 4 recently was free on steam. A single person family household, would give the basic pillars of how to manage resources when it comes to life. This one is resource oriantated as well : https://store.steampowered.com/app/1403850/Mars_Colony_Builder/ Essentially, you want game to be game, not a task. For the person to have fun & learn at the same time. You could try less interractive games tho with a real life financial reward like. ,,If you beat me in chess, you get $50" Make a stupid move there or there, in order not to crush her confidence.
