this is my personal idea that was conceived from the fact i trade, what you guys think? ive been at it for 2 years so far,,, i never asked people in trading for their opinion, Also iam looking for a co-founder with a technological background which is what i lack,,,

there is a massive bubble for startups and the only thing they value upon (at least initially) is the amount of users, currently, 360 million GALLONS of gas are consumed DAILY in America ALONE

You have a decent site and idea but at this stage 2 years in with a functioning product and you don't have a CTO? WTF?

I don't know anything about feasibility, but it is a brilliant concept.

People take needless effort to save a nickel or dime in gas. Obviously, it has a more serious impact for people employed with delivery and transportation services.

I think you should stop trading and start hitting the road to negotiate with gas station owners. The markets will always be here. Your business requires critical mass and copy cats can easily follow. Just look at Uber and upstart Lyft.

  4. the site was only made to provide info so its not even what i expect to run,, iam more asking on the idea,,,, quite frankly no excuses,,, asides from that i put trading ahead of everything,,, i also have been having a hard time finding motivated individuals who would put the time commitment,, i had money offers to co-founders but all they were bringing to the table was money which is not necessarily whats needed, at least not initially

  5. xandman, this is even better, i got the cards already from WEX and the cards work at every gas station in America and Canada, this is truly a full startup and its expansion is exponential,,, no need to negoitate with each gas station owner

  6. additionally, there is been several who started this in the past however they got overran with success and imploded which is why i took so long to study the concept and see what to be done better and different which i believe i identified, facebook wasnt the first social media, yet they are the best right now

@RUFUS MREHIN: I'm not sure you need a CTO right now, you do need another person to come in to help with ops. Don't turn away your cofounders/investors just because they are only offering money(success problem), look an see who makes a good strategic partner with access to large distributors and etc.

If you are a profitable trader I know it can be hard to give that up to do this full time. But look you need to see how often you are gonna get a chance to do something like this. The markets will always be there. Took me a very long time to learn that.

Me? I was cofounder of a fintech startup that folded. Push your idea hard.
