I would really appreciate any help about this matter please. I want to find a prop that could offer me a platform with a vertical ladder or depth of market (every company call it in different ways) for trading US equities. Somethign like: All of them offer , Laser, Sterling, Fusion, Takion, etc.... but none of them have this simple tool. IB and Tradestation can offer such a tool but their comissions are too high for my scalping methods and high daily volume. Would be great if any of you could help me to get in touch with any prop offering that or give any information about any software that you could link to those platforms offered by the props. Many thanks!!!
This would be the first time I've seen someone wanting to join a prop firm for a common piece of software. If that is your only requirement, we offer Silexx OEMS which has a ladder for equities and options. We also offer sterling trader and REDI, but I'm not sure if they have it. If don't know if you qualify for a PM account to one of our clearing brokers. Email me directly if you want to talk about it. This would not be a prop account but a SIPC protected customer account.
Hi @rmorse, It´s not that that simple, it´s not that I want to join a firm because of a common piece of software. Most of the props I´ve contacted offered me similar conditions and same platforms, but one of my main concerns is to find a vertical display of market depth (DOM) because that is the way I´ve been scalping for more that 15 years in other markets and I don´t want to change my way of trading. Silexx Obsidian is a great platform, but I´ve contacted them and it´s not possible to link to the platforms. For what I know is not easy to find a firm with low commision for scalping and a vertical DOM: Tradestation,IB and some others offer vertical DOMs but their comission scheme is very high for my daily volume. I think we talked some time ago, but will PM you anyway to check your conditions. Thanks for the offer.
Sterling could provide what you need but it seems that they also charge a quite expensive fee. BTW, is it legal to mine a vertical ladder privately?
Hi @@Green Hand ! Could you please give more information about that posibility? Have you used any? I´ve contacted Sterling and they don´t offer me any direct solution. That´s why I want to hire a programmer and make my own ladder (DOM). Why is it ilegal? It´s going to be a program for my personal use. Thanks!
Hey Piyayo, Have you checked out Hold Brothers Capital? They have their own trading execution software, Graybox. Not sure if they offer what you are looking for but it might be worth it to request a demo. - Vikram.
